一、疼
这是我们最常遇到的一种不适感觉。那疼到底是怎么一回事呢?它与“痛”又有什么不同呢?我们先来看看汉字是如何解释的?
我们先来看看结构。疼，外面是一个病字旁，里边是一个冬。怎么理解呢?中国文字都是象形文字，每个字里，都有深刻的含意。冬，一定和冬天、寒冷有关，而病字旁，代表过寒。《黄帝内经》是这么解释的：“寒胜其热,则骨疼肉枯。——《灵枢经·刺节真邪》”那这是什么意思呢?就是寒超过了热，而导致了骨头疼肉紧枯。这种感觉可以用“寒风刺骨”这个成语来形容。因此，可以理解为，由过寒引起的身体不适之感觉。
中医有“热者寒之，寒者热之”的疗法。因此，对于疼，我们通常的做法，就是要避免受寒，同时如果受寒而引起的不适，要用热来解决。通常，引起疼的病症，主要是外伤、冻伤、风寒感冒等，大都与寒冷有关。
二、痛
我们还是先来看看字形结构。痛，是病字旁，里边是一个甬字，“甬”，什么意思呢，路也。我们这样可以理解痛这个字，它是由于路被堵住了引起的。那这个路是什么呢?我们可以理解为经络，以及一切与之相关的血管、淋巴等各种管道。像很多女孩子都有痛经的问题，那这部分，大都是由于受寒凉，导致经络堵住，经血下行不畅。那解决的方法，就是要通把路打通。中医认为，“通则不痛，痛则不通”，就是这个道理。
三、痒
在古字中“羊”和“阳”是相通的。在中医里，阳与人的生命关系密切。得阳者生，失阳者亡。那阳在病里旁里，说明什么呢?阳气病了，受阻了。因此，我理解，痒，实际上是“痛和健康”的一种临界状态。
什么情况下人体会痒呢?长伤口时，人会痒，说明气血在通达到伤口时，受到一定的阻碍，不顺。人体从一股暖流，变成无数条暖流时，就会感觉痒。还有人的后背也经常会痒，也就有人发明了痒痒挠这种工具。那这种痒，又是怎么回事呢?其实是人体的阳气在往外顶体内的湿。在顶的过程中，由于人体的经络不是很畅通，因此，会遇到一定的阻力，所以会痒。
对于皮肤痒，很多人都爱用激素，其实，那解决不了根本问题，反而对人体有危害。其实，人体很有意思，当你面对痒的时候，人最爱做的事，就是挠，而这个挠的过程，其实也是疏通经络的过程。只不过，这是在表皮。而更深层、更好的办法，就是刮痧，让更深层的寒湿出来。如果原来痛，现在变成痒了，其实，说明你的身体在向好的方向转换。反之，原来痒，后来变成痛了，那就说明向坏的方向转换。
四、酸
酸字的左边是一个酉，右侧是“夋”qūn。酉，在天干地支中，对应的是17-19点，刚好是肾经当值。而“夋”字，意为：“行走迟缓的样子”。所以，在人体上，基本可以理解为肾虚了。
我们身体最容易酸的地方是哪，是腰对吧?在中医里，腰为肾之府。所以，腰酸，大体上可以找到的原因就是肾虚了，我们身体代谢缓慢了。还有一种状况，就是我们爬山之后，腿很容易酸，其实，这也是身体血液中乳酸堆积不易代谢的结果。而中医认为，肾主骨生髓造血，所以，还是和肾虚有关。
我觉得，酸其实和痒一样，也是一种身体的临界状态，往好的方向，就是健康;往坏的方面，可能就是疼痛了。对于酸，解决的方案，就是加温和加速，热敷和按摩，对缓解酸有很大的效果。同时，枸杞也是强肾的佳品。总之，强壮你的肾，才是解决酸的根本之道。因为，你很少听小孩说他腰酸的。因为他们一个个都是肾气十足。
五、胀
胀是肉月旁+一个长字。如何理解呢?主要是指肌肉组织不正常的扩大。它和肿基本上是同意。肿，主要是表现在外观;而胀，经常会是外观看不到的情况。造成胀的原因很多，外在的，可能是外伤引起的发炎，或者捆绑造成气血不畅。其实大都也是由于管道受阻，造成身体的代谢出了问题所致。要做的工作，也是疏通经络，解决淤堵。
六、麻

七、疲
疲，也是病字旁里一个皮字。疲字的主义：懈怠，不起劲。皮在中医里是由肺主管的。而肺在中医里是管疏布血的，是相傅之官。疲多从外在表现出来，比如疲软等，是看得见和摸的着的。
八、乏
乏字的主要意思是缺少和无能。缺少什么?当然是缺少气血啊。与疲不同，乏，多为身体内在的感觉。比如我们可以说：“我今天很乏”，这是一种内心的感受，而不能说，“我今天很疲”。如果说我很疲乏，则是指身体由外到内都打不起精神来。疲和乏都与我们气血不足有关。解决的方法，需要综合调理了。这与我们前面说的各种症状相比，相对严重些。
